Xbox 360 Redesign Rumor

Word on the street has it that fall 2009 will see the Xbox 360 being redesigned on the hardware front, pretty much like how Sony sent their original PS2 to the fathouse only to unveil the easily overheated slim PS2. One thing is confirmed though - the internal hardware used in the redesign will be the Valhalla chip, and it remains to be seen whether Microsoft will approve of an

outer shell change. Do you think a redesigned Xbox 360 will boost flagging sales in undoubtful territories? Perhaps Microsoft should have released the slim Xbox 360s in Japan in the first place with current fatties elsewhere to cater for different markets.
