TDK GBDisk RS1 Series

TDK introduced its GBDisk RS1 series of Serial ATA (SATA)-compatible industrial silicon disks which are able to hold up to 16GB worth of info on its separate level cell (SLC) NAND flash memory which comes in handy for high-speed and frequent goods writing. Features such as complete potential interruption tolerance, error correction, distributed notes writing, and poor block management compose that one highly dependable memory storage

solution. They share the same dimensions as a 2.5″ hard drive, and should be able to find their way into tiny UMPCs sometime in the near future. Hopefully the prices will be low when it debuts for the consumer market.
